Were the lights really up that high in the place, or was that your flash that caused that?

Very cool how some peoples' eyes are closed. I couldn't do that - I'd want to see what they were doing every second.

I was going to ask approx. what time the show would finish [I'm attending and travelling alone, and I need to plan alternative ways to get home just in case I miss the last train] but I'll work around the time that the topic-maker provided.

Is it a certainty that we will recieve earplugs or should I pop out and get a pair of my own earlier in the day? The girls in the photograph looked quite... pained.

Tomorrow's MBV concert will be the first concert I have ever attended and I'm terribly excited - I have nowhere else to express that excitement so I apologise for my ramblings.

Oh, and hello. It's good to be here.

yeah, thats' great... you'll never forget it  Wink

as for the earplugs, see the first page:
I thought the handing out of earplugs and the signs advertising their availability was a bit of gimmick, but you will need them. Perhaps bring your own as the ones they were handing out were not too comfortable.

Did anyone notice that Kevin's tremelo arm came off in his hand during the second or third song?

Yeah, during (When You Wake) You're Still In A Dream. Think he was signalling to Colm to carry on or do an extra bar or something while he sorted it out.

Love that picture by the way  Cheesy You were stood close to me I think, I was near that tall guy in the red shirt.

Morella, it finished around 10:50 I think

Better to be safe than sorry.

I swear my hearing has never been the same since one particularly loud mogwai gig 9 or so years ago.

Look after your ears.

Looks like daylight doesn't it? It think the shot was caught during either the strobes being on and during one the lighting white-outs. Most people were covering their ears during YMMR, (despite also having the ear plugs) and some were covering their partners ears.  Shocked

If you took the picture I was directly to the right of you (blue checked shirt stood behind my missus, a Japanese girl). Were you/your partner the lass in the orange t-shirt?

Damn, it's 8pm already. Only been up a few hours! Let's hope someone gets the setlist tonight. Still can't believe they pulled out Come In Alone. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't they only ever play that once?

MBV came onstage about 9:10 pm, and finished about 10:30 pm.  They didn't do an encore.  I left as soon as MBV left the stage, walked to Camden Town tube station and got there around 10:50.

As early as that? I thought it was later. My mistake.
